Fun Disney Books to Give as Holiday Gifts to Kids

The Twofer love books. They love to read them, they love to write them, they love to smell them. Yes, smell them. But that's another post.

And so they always get a few books for Christmas either from us, Santa, or from their aunt who also loves books. Below are some fun, and different books from Disney Publishing that will make great gifts for various reasons. Check out the books and the reasons below. Then, let me know if your giving your kid books this holiday!

Phineas and Ferb Comic Reader #3: Hey, Where's Perry?

Who doesn't like Phineas and Ferb? Even I get sucked into that show on occasion. What I like about this book: it's A REAL comic book! Lots of colorful comic strip pictures but still a book with a beginning, middle and end. Perfect for any kid that likes the show, but maybe doesn't love reading. A comic book like this is a great compromise to get them interested in reading.

Super Chicken Nugget Boy vs. Dr. Ned-Grant and his Eggplant Army

Any book that makes a chicken nugget into a hero is perfect in my book. What I like about this book: it deals with bullies, beacause really, all super hero stories are about dealing with bullies. Super Chicken Nugget Boy helps to fight crime while keeping the reader giggling. It's a chapter book which can challenge readers, but has some pictures to keep the image in their mind active as well.

Sugar Plum Ballerinas: Terrible Terrel

Even my twins can related to books about The Sugar Plum Ballerinas and they don't even take ballet! Why? Because these ballerina stories are filled with girl drama and deal with issues like believing in yourself, doing the right thing, and accepting that your dad has a girlfriend. WHAT? Yep, in the latest Sugar Plum book, we follow along as Terrel tries to stay in control of everything...including her father.
