Haiti Relief necklace by Studio Jewel
A good bloggy/twitter friend of mine happens to be an amazing artist and metalsmith. She has a store full of beautiful pieces and each one makes me drool.
But Lisa has a heart as well, and when it speaks to her, she listens. This time it told her to create something that can help those affected in Haiti.
We need to SURROUND those impacted by this disaster with HOPE - thus the significance of the silver circle encompassing the hope disk. It will take our faith, our hope and our love to feed their emotional needs...but it will also take our hands. We need to use WOOD, STONE and METAL, as seen in the individual beads, to rebuild what has been lost - to rebuild lives torn apart. We must LINK together, as represented by the silver chain, as a people united in order to serve others and share our HOPE for a new and better future.
Then she offered to send me one, and have me give one away on my blog! I wore it the other night (photo does NOT do it justice) and got tons of compliments.
What you need to know:
Details: necklace is 16" plus the cirlce drop with sterling silver components - wood, hematite & ocean jasper beads
Donation: For each Haiti Relief necklace sold, Lisa will donate $25.00 to Christian World Outreach who has been working in Haiti since 1979.
How to enter to win:
Because this is a giveaway that is giving back, I'm doing entries a little different. Each option will give you a different number of entries.
