Discovery Store Toys that Dads will Love to Play

As part of my involvement with the Discovery Store Toys for a Year Giveaway I wanted to share with my readers a little more about some of the toys you can win. I've decided to group the toys together and for this post I decided to look at toys that Dads will be tempted to borrow.

NASA Space Mission

Discovery Channel Store NASA Space Mission Play Set

Living so close to the Air & Space Museum, I have a soft spot in my heart for all things NASA and especially the Space Shuttle. (Totally random tip - when visiting DC be sure to head to the Udvar Hazy Air & Space Museum where you can see an Space Shuttle up close and personal)

Discovery Walkie Talkie Watch Set

Discovery Channel Store Walkie Talkie Watch SetPerfect for the Dad, I mean kid, that likes to play spy, this set of walkie talkies have adjustable wrist bands, flip out antennaes, and VOX technology that allows you to talk without touching a button! Actually, these could come in handy at the beach, at the mall, or even as we explore Disney. I might get a second set so that each member of the family can stay in touch while we are on the go.

Radio Control Iron Eagle Helicopter

Discovery Channel Store RC Helicopter

Dads, be honest. Raise your hand (or leave a comment) if you already have an RC helicopter. The Mister has one, my brother has one. These were big sellers last year for the holidays and I'm guessing it was the dads buying them! Learning to fly it around the house takes some skill and patience, so it's the perfect gift for the Dad that wants to 'help'.

Techno Gears Marble Mania Extreme 2.0

With over 300 pieces, Dads and their kids can build a different marble run every day AND power it! This is like the Big Boy version of a marble run and I can definitely see The Mister not only building but naming his 'genius' marble designs. Cause, you know, boys like the name things, don't they?

Be sure to enter to win the Discovery Channel Store Toys for a Year giveaway. Click on the red button on the image below before November 20th! Then let me know if you win!

More reviews to come!
