Disney Tangled Review and Another Fun Giveaway (Update 12/14)

In Disney's new movie 'Tangled' Rapunzel's hair isn't the only thing that's messy.
Last weekend the Twofer and I were able to see a preview of the new Disney movie, 'Tangled' in 3D. We all know the story of Rapunzel and her being trapped in a tower with really, really, really long hair.
What I didn't know (and maybe this is the Disney effect) was the co-depent relationship she had with her mother - or really the woman she thinks is her mother but is really her captor. You see Rapunzel was stolen at birth by an old witch who wanted to remain young forever. Whenever the witch comes in contact with Rapunzel's hair, she gets a boost from a youth serum. Thus, Rapunzel is NEVER allowed outside of the tower for it's "Too Dangerous".
It take Rapunzel 18 long years to rebel and sneak outside when an outlaw, Flynn Rider, shows up at the tower and her 'mother' leaves on a 3-day trip.
Rapunzel makes us laugh with all of her firsts
From the very first time she smacks Flynn Rider with a frying pan to the first time her toes touch the grass, we giggle and smile as Rapunzel takes in the world around her. Flynn tried to get her to chance her mind about their 'deal' but Rapunzel, we learn has found her voice and is now very determined, smart and brave.

We LOVED tangled. My girls couldn't stop giggling! I loved the characters....it was actually just as enjoyable for me as for them.

I went to see it on the opening day with all three of my kids and my best friend and her kids. We went to celebrate my daughter's 10th birthday. My best friend and I were going to sneak over and see Faster after the movie started but Tangled was so cute we watched it with the kids until the end.

My twins saw it with grandma on thanksgiving weekend and the tangled references and enthusiasm haven't stopped!

With my kids of course! My 5 year old daughter is going to LOVE it!
We took our 2.5 year old DD, last weekend, big mistake! She refused to sit through the movie so DH and I took turns leaving with her. I think in total DD probably watched 30 mins at the most in intervals. Though Tangled is all she can talk about, go figure lol. I really enjoyed the parts that I saw and can't wait for it to come out on DVD as we will be buying it.
I took my 8-year-old and 5-year-old daughters the day after Thanksgiving and they LOVED it! I did, too!
I took my two little girls (8 and 5) and they absolutely loved it. We saw the 3D version.
