Lands' End: Making Good things happen with FeelGood Sweaters
Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 09:00AM September kicks off the Lands' End FeelGood Campaign which is a fun way to shop and feel good about giving to the homeless across the country.
I first learned about this opportunity when I met the Lands' End folks at the Social Luxe Lounge party at Blogher 09. There I registered to receive my own free FeelGood sweater which I recently received in the mail.
If I had to pick a word to describe just how snuggly this sweater is I guess it would have to be....bunny.

See how cute it that? And there are more to choose from! Just visit LandsEnd.com and click on the FeelGood link to see what there is.
Buy FeelGood and Keep the Homeless Warm
From September 1, 2009 through December, for every FeelGood sweater purchased, Lands' End will donate signature FeelGood yarn to One Heart Foundation's knitting charity called Warming Familes (www.warmingfamilies.com).
Volunteers at the Warming Families chapters are on-hand to kint up to 25,000 hats for homeless and displaced people and famiilies.
Want to help more?
Buy a few sweaters as birthday, holiday, even teacher gifts and insert a card so they know their gift helped warm someone in need.
Download a pattern to knit a hat or two at Lands' End then send your finished hats to a participating volunteer group.
Blog about the Lands' End FeelGood campaign or send a tweet out on Twitter!

Feeling warm and thankful,
