Help TwoferMom and ShopRite fight hunger!

Who: ShopRite
What: The ShopRite Partners in Caring has donated $2 million dollars every year for the past 10 years - that's $20 million total!
Where I come in: ShopRite has asked bloggers to participate in the Blog it Forward to Fight Hunger program where we tell our lovely readers like you about the program.
Why you should care: If you leave a comment on this blog post General Mills and ShopRite will donate one box of cereal to a food bank in ShopRite’s trading area! They will do this for the first 30 comments. That's 30 boxes of cereal to help feel 30 families.
Who this will affect: I have been reading in the papers that the volunteers at the local food banks are surprised to see so many new people. These are people with business suits on, and people with jobs. The problem is that many people who are employed have lost hours or salary to cutbacks. I'm guessing we each know more than one person who has needed food assistance - we just didn't know it.
Bonus - my pretty little face looking at you eat Honey Nut Cheerios: Huh? If I get 30 comments I have a chance at having my face be part of a photo mosaic on a custom box of General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios. How fun is that?
Bottom line: leave a comment, and tell your friend to stop by and comment so together we can donate 30 boxes of cereal.
Thanks for caring and for commenting,
Janine

Awesome cause! I know you're close to the necessary number of comments, but I'm headed to RT now!
Awesome cause! I know you're close to your necessary number of comments, but I'll RT anyway!
Giddy up.
Love this idea. Not having enough to eat for one person would be difficult, but can you imagine a family not having enough to eat. At our elem. school we have a small handful of kids on free lunches. I always hope these kids get enough to eat in the summer.
glad to be number 30
What a great cause! I'll be looking for your face on my box of Cheerios :)
