I was approached by ALA to discover a family adventure in our local area as a way to celebrate family adventures! I was excited as we have so much to do around here including bike paths, rafting, lots of free museums, boating, zip lines, and we are close to the beach. So what did I choose?
Yes, I chose a Pool!
Now I know what you are thinking - that it's not really an adventure. But let me tell you something. This is not just ANY OLD POOL. Also, this was not just ANY OLD SUMMER day.
It was 100 and a heat index of 115 degrees that day.
This pool has all kinds of cool activities that involve more than swimming...
Germantown pool slids
Germantown pool has lots of shade (it was99 degrees in the shade)
Germantown pool has challengesNow I know it's not one of Austin-Lehman's Family Europe vacations, but it was fun all the same!
What would your choice family adventure be?
