Interview with Design Squad Nation hosts Judy and Adam
Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 04:09PM The other weekend we were invited down to the National Building Museum for the kick off of National Engineers Week and for an opportunity to meet the hosts of a new kids show about engineering and science.
Design Squad Nation is a show that challenges tweens and teens to take on engineering feats like a cake that is delicious and electronic, or an organ that is powered by pedals. The theme of Design Squad Nation is that if kids can dream it, they can build it. What a great message!
I had the opportunity to interview the hosts of the show, Adam and Judy. We had lost power (yes, again! I know you are getting sick of all the power loss and so am I!) and I wasn't looking my best to be on camera so I gave the girls the opportunity to take over.
With a little prodding and encouragement they did and I think they did a great job!
Design Squad Nation is on PBS Kids on Wednesdays (check local listings) and you can learn more at pbskidsgo.org/designsquadnation
