Cool Stuff I Fount at the Mom Select Suite: mini robots, custom t-shirts and shower heads

I'm a member of Mom Select and for the past few years they have held a "swag suite" that is convenient to a major blogging conference I attend.

What is a swag suite?

Just that.

They hand you a bag and you browse through tables of merchandise and fill the bag with whatever you want. The idea is that we take the stuff home, test it out, and write about it. Having worked with companies I know the investment they've made and so I want to highlight the goodies I snagged this year as a THANK YOU for investing in me!

Fashion Playtes

Moms of girls - listen up. Fashion Playtes is a website where you can go to custom design clothing. Not only is this fun to do with your own girls (or granddaughters) but it makes an incredible gift!

First you choose the clothing you want to design. I chose a dress.

 

Then you add graphics, appliques, even ruffles and sparkle to it! Give it the look you want, and then create a custom label - like a real designer!

The item is shipped to you in 2-3 weeks. I think I'm going to stock up on Fashion Playtes gift cards for all the girl birthdays we celebrate. Which is a LOT.  Plus, what an easy but really cool gift for the holidays, back-to-school, or even for when the grades are really good.

 Hexbugs

 Hexbugs are mini robots and are a huge hit with girsl, boys AND dads. Some react to physical barriers or sound, while others react to light or have remote controls. Whichever bug you get, it's a great way to introduce robotics to kids.

Plus, Hexbugs fans are a lively bunch and share all kinds of information on the Hexbug Facebook page including fun ways to play with your bugs and cool habitats.

Waterpik Medallion Powerspray Shower Handle

I have always wanted a hand-held shower head sprayer. I have also wanted the rain shower head. This fancy little 5-spray shower head from Waterpik seems to be the best of both worlds. The Mister has not installed it yet but you can see how big the head is for the rain effect, and it has a handle!

 

I am so excited to get this on and start using it! It has, get this, a mist setting, a power spray setting, a massage setting, and of course a water saver which I love.

The handle is 5 feet long so it will get in between dirty little toes AND will make it much easier to rinse the walls of the shower after cleaning them! Yes, part of me is excited about this shower head because it will make cleaning easier. Sad, but true.
