Who the hell needs a watch anyway? Oh wait, I do.
Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 09:00AM My watch battery died, oh, 4 months ago?
I've been living without.
Occasionally I'll wear one of the watches I got in Disney at the Social Media Moms Celebration. But I don't want to lose those and they aren't waterproof.
So instead I've been walking around asking people what time it is.
Or, I staple my cell phone to my hip so I can check the time.
Or, I ask one of the girls to go in the other room to ask Daddy what time it is and then come back and tell me.
Of course by then it's 5-10 minutes later because you know they don't do anything in a straight line.
I think it's time for a new watch.
Or maybe something that reflects the way I feel some days.

And by that I mean squeezed! Not pear-shaped!
What watch are you wearing?

dude, what's a watch? I have received a few for gifts from my friend who is always late, but i am NEVER late, so I want to give them right back to her.
Cell phones are the new Timex's
I understand your feelings about a watch. When I am at work, I have four million people constantly watching clocks and timers and all (I work in a timed-turn around business), so I stopped wearing a watch of my own years ago.
Just last week, my wife and I took a long-overdue second honeymoon to Panama--the first time away without the kids is many years. She normally wears a watch, but her battery died just before we left. And since we were in a different time zone, things got a little confusing.
It was a great trip, but since we returned I started wearing a watch. I believe this will be temporary as I will quickly tire of time once again as people continue to wear on my 'time nerve' at work.
